Abundance begins work in Malawi
Although Abundance has ambition to impact worldwide, Malawi was chosen as the first country to begin Abundance's work. Being a very needy country with Human Development Index position of 173 out of 188 countries, there is a lot of work to be done. The country is blessed with scenic landscapes and natural resources, however it is under threat from deforestation and over extraction of natural resources. Abundance's team visited Malawi in April 2016 to discuss activities to implement with communities from Mbando Village, Machinga District by the shores of Lake Chilwa, the second largest lake in Malawi.
